Please read this GauG Coin Terms of Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Coin Terms") carefully before using the coins.
These Coin Terms shall regulate the acquisition and use of the coins. Our company may change these Coin Terms at any time by posting the changed Coin Terms on our website. The changed Coin Terms shall apply to all the acquisition and use of the coins after the changed Coin Terms have been posted, and the user who acquires or uses the coins after the change of these Coin Terms shall be deemed to have agreed to the provisions of the changed Coin Terms. The user of these Coin Terms refers to the user who is able to acquire and consume the coins.
GauG Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") provides coins that can be used in GauG. The coins can be used to use the services designated by our company. Our company may end the provision of all or part of the coins due to changes in laws and regulations, changes in social conditions, etc. In such cases, we will notify the type of coins to be discontinued and the refund method on our website.
1. Scope of Application
These Coin Terms shall apply to the acquisition and use of the coins issued by our company.
2. Other Terms of Service
The user shall comply with these Coin Terms, GauG Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other terms and conditions designated by our company (collectively referred to as "GauG Terms"). In case of any discrepancy between these Coin Terms and the other GauG Terms with respect to the acquisition and use of the coins, these Coin Terms shall take precedence.
3. Coin Acquisition
- Account
To obtain or use coins, you must have an account in GauG (hereinafter referred to as a "user"). Coins can only be used by the user who holds the account, and third parties other than the user cannot use the coins. The user is responsible for maintaining the security of their account and password, and ensuring that others cannot access their account. We consider all actions taken through a user's account to be the actions of the user who holds the account. If a user has multiple accounts, coin transfers between accounts are generally not handled.
- Coin Purchase Price
The charge for purchasing coins is displayed on the payment screen, including the final purchase confirmation screen (which may include the screen of an external payment vendor). The charge may change due to exchange rate fluctuations and other factors. Hereinafter, coins purchased for a fee will be referred to as "purchased coins".
- Coin Purchase
You can purchase coins by paying the charge displayed on the screen.
- Payment
- Users can make payments for coin purchases through one of the following third-party credit card companies or payment agents (hereinafter referred to as "payment providers"). Our company is not responsible for the user's choice and use of payment providers. Any disputes with payment providers should be resolved directly between the user and the payment provider. The purchase of coins is considered complete when the user clicks the purchase button on the final confirmation screen when purchasing coins and is authenticated at that point. Unless otherwise specified in these coin rules, refunds of coin purchase fees will not be accepted after purchase completion. Our company will promptly issue coins after confirming the completion of the coin purchase, but there may be delays in issuing coins due to system or other reasons.
- Payment by credit card
Users can pay for their coin purchases by using a credit card. If the user inputs their payment information containing a credit card number, the user shall be deemed to have approved our company or the payment processing company designated by our company to store such payment information and other related information. Unless otherwise notified in writing by the company, the transaction relating to the sale of coins shall be final and the payment processing company designated by the company shall bill the purchase amount for coins.
- Payment by Google Pay
Users can use the electronic payment system "Google Pay" provided by Google LLC to make their purchases.
- Payment by Apple Pay
Users can use the electronic payment system "Apple Pay" provided by Apple Inc. to make their purchases.
- Limitations on the use of payment providers
Depending on the user environment, such as the app, device, and the way the user is registered, the use of payment providers, and the use of services provided by the company, the user may be subject to limitations on the use of payment providers. The company shall not be responsible for any limitations or restrictions on the use of payment providers.
- Taxes
Users are responsible for all sales taxes and other taxes and fees applicable to the use of Coins and Services.
- Notes on Purchases
Users are not exempt from the obligation to pay for the purchase of coins based on these Coin Terms, even if they cannot use mobile services. In addition to the cost of purchasing coins, separate communication fees may be incurred for the purchase and use of services through coins. If a minor wishes to purchase coins, they must always obtain the consent of their guardian or legal representative. If a minor purchases coins, it will be deemed that they have obtained the necessary consent. The acquisition or use of coins may be suspended if our company determines it to be necessary for system malfunctions, system maintenance, or other security management purposes.
4. Coin Usage
- Procedure
Users are allowed to exchange (use) coins in accordance with the methods and scope determined by our company in order to use the service. The user is required to promptly notify our company of any errors in the balance of the coins they hold by checking their balance in accordance with the procedures specified by our company.
